Great, I just got my science test back today 1. A white solid is heated and is observed to change to a liquid at 65 degrees C. The liquid is cooled and becomes a solid again. As the substance is heated it becomes a liquid at 75 degrees C. Explain whether the change is chemical or physical. 2. Explain what corrosion is and explain 2 ways to prevent corrosion in metals such as on cars and boats. 3. So 2+8 = 10 Valence Electron Noble gases have full valence shells, otherwise known as being stable It indicates the number of electrons on the valence shell. *Didn't understand* Non metals "steal" electrons from a metal to become stable Metals give off or lose their electrons to become ions.
