Pokemon EV Training Help. (Diamond)

I'm planning to train a Pokemon for speed, but I have a few questions. 1) In order to gain the EV point/s, does that certain pokemon have to kill it? 2) Which pokemon are best for Speed EV points? 3) There was this certain item that could increase Speed EV stat when you fought, what item is that?

1) No, pretty much if a pokemon gets exp from the kill, it gets EVs. Just use an exp share for quick EV training. 2) Many people use Magikarp for Speed EV farming, although I sometimes switch to Zubats because Magikarp are boring as hell : 3) The Power Something; you can buy it from the Battle Tower. I'm not sure of the name though, you'll have to look it up online.

1) you can use exp share 2) I think Scissors (i forgot) gave 2 or 3 EVs... You can always google (: That's all I remember x)

1. You can use EXP Share 2. Zubats 3. Someplace in the Battle Frontier trade your battle points for it

1) It just has to get some exp. 2) Zubats 3) Macho Brace, also you can get infected by Pokerus and get 4x the EV training while equipping the Macho Brace.
