Archer HP at Bosses w/o HP washing

I was wondering how significent of a problem the low HP on a bowmaster affects their survivability at bosses if they don't have HB and don't hp wash. Please note I'm talking about the "smaller" bosses such as Pap, Pianus, Crimson/Jr. Rog. What level could a ranger/sniper expect to solo those bosses without the help of HB?

[quote] XxSaCuLxX : this is in BMS where we dont have items such as deputy star so idk...im talking about clean hp [/quote] good thing is, by those lvls, and average BM/MM would have at the very least a MoN, giving em nearly 10 lvls of HP right pianus asks almost the same as pap, ~5k HP, so around lvl 150-160 should be doable. but, as long as you dominate puppet and don't lag, you can pretty much avoid bombs and touch dmg of second form (for pap), so i'd say at 130 you could do it for crog, you need ~3.8k HP, you could do it at 120-130, but you could go rambo, stand inside it, and AR/AE it to death. you need only ~2k HP for this. or kill it so fast to give it no chance to attack, or use puppet. zak, at 120 you could go HBless the only bosses that ask for a tad more of HP to do early are HT (5k) and PB (9k). otherwise, getting standard equips and leveling would do enough to make you face them (except PB) for more info, check the stickies

It's not that bad really. The only real problem I have at times is lag, or not potting properly when I'm spamming Hurricane lol (2hko xD). By the time you're 4th job - which is when we really start developing in the boss department - you should have enough HP to attempt quite a few of those 'summonable' bosses (i.e. Pap, Zak, Scarlion). From my own experience with Crog, you need just over 4k. His m. atk tends to hit about 3800-3900. You technically need about 4k at Pap to avoid the bombs (or just over 5k for his 2nd form), but you can avoid both :D. Just takes a bit of practice.

I've always had a problem solo-bossing because, weirdly, I have somewhat a lower HP than the avg bowman my level. I solo-papped pretty late (139-140ish) because i just recently achieved a 4k HP. With the help of medals and pendants these days, I've seen a mid-level 120's being able to defeat the "smaller" bosses as you've mentioned. Hope that helps!
