go play WoW. if you spend alot of cash on maplestory then 15 dollars amonth should be nothing. Its a great game with no hackers very few bugs but you wont really notice them. I have been playing WoW for over a year now and i never saw a hacker or noticed any bugs/glitches in the game. Fun questing and pvp and loads of achievements. Blizzard > Nexon.

Try La Tale. You'll hate the lag and the movement after MS, but it got EVERYTHING else almost perfect. See: great art and music, great skill system, great combat, made all the more rewarding by potion cooldown and no touch damage (but also no "invincible period" after getting hit) and it really feels like its own game and not another MS ripoff/clone. In my eyes, it messed up some things that I can't just look past, but it also did a lot right. Give it a shot.
