Question about forging (NOT covered in guide)

Hey guys, I've read over Lumancer's Maker Guide a few times, but there's a question I need answered before I proceed in making mah godly DT, and yes, I already tried PMing him (no response ). In the guide, Lumancer says that no item in the game that can be forged can use all four sockets... but couldn't I use an Advanced Diamond, Advanced LUK, Advanced DEX, and Advanced Power/Advanced Garnet for the four sockets? If not, please provide an explanation, and if so, please help me with determining which should be used for the last two sockets from either DEX/STR/Garnet that would be most useful to a bandit (obviously Attack and LUK going into the first two sockets). Thanks a ton

I'd do an atk one, dex one, and str one. Then the last one ,whichever your heart desires. ;P

You can only add 3 stat crystals (Dark/luk/dex etc.) and ONE simulator. 4 slots, 3 crystals, 1 simulator. 3+1=4. And you can't use all 3 crystal slots until level 105 when you get level 3 maker skill.

DT can only use 2 gem slots

The amount of slots you can use is based on the lvl of the equip. so while there is a 4th slot there, you won't be able to use it because there is no equip able to be made atm that has a high enough lvl to allow for 4 gems to be used.

because items from 50-70 only have one slot, 80-100 2 slots and 110+ 3 (I believe)

OT: Like everyone else said, although there are four slots available in your window, specific items can only have a specific amount of slots. Currently, the highest level item you can make is Lv120, and all Lv120 and lower items can only have three or less slots.

Killerfan is correct. It's possible for a Maker Skill 4 to come out in the future, where level 140 or 150 items can be forged. Those would use the 4th slot.

And from what I'm gathering from the comments, it sounds like what everyone is saying is that I can't use 4 jewels because Maker simply won't allow 4 to be used, despite the fact that there ARE 4 sockets? If that's what ya'll are saying then... lame
