Too late to become low-str?

So now I have 33 str on my crossbowman and I have decided to go low str for no apparent reason. Never thought I'd become a damage hore either, but this is my first physical char besides my Priest. So can I still be Low str? Is it good? Or should I continue with a reg bowman? Also, which equips? I current have a 10 dex overall, 8 atk gloves, and 12 dex hat (amdusia) with maple xbow. (I know, sucky stuff, but I'm not that rich)

33str is more than low... generally low-str archers will end up using either a lvl90-100-110-120 weapon as their endgame bow/xbow... considering you're a xbow, to use even a lvl90 xbow as your endgame weapon, you'd need 90str... so 33str is low...

well, 33 STR for a lvl 46 seems okay, but you should rise it a bit more at higher lvls but, by any means, don't go over 80 base STR no matter how poor you are. sooner or later, you'll get at the very least a zhelm and a MoN, among other various equips, which will greatly help you to use even reverse weapons. hec, i have 60 base STR and i'm 3 STR short of being able to use a reverse bow (which i have no damned business with xD)

the cap range designated for "low-str" is generally around 60-80 base str, closer to 60ish.

You're already lower than low-str. Low str is generally around 50str, with the rest being covered by equips.

o_o well. I wanted to be STR-less AFTER I put points into STR, so now I'm wondering if I should keep 33dex? Or should I put points into str on my next levels for better bows? I'm lv50 now. Okay, point is, where should I leave my str at? I wanted to be low-str for more damage.

Try leaving it at 50 first as a max. Then go for some str equips + zhelm (if you can afford it). After that make it you business to look for +str equips from anything and everything you'll be wearing. Then adjust accordingly.

I capped my Sniper's Str at 44, so I guess you're fine.

LOL capping str requires planning for the future mainly what your end game equips are gonna be and how much str they require once you figure that out figure out how your going to provide the rest of the str either by adding more base str or getting more str via str equips or a combination of both. Usually for low- str majority of the str is covered by str equips leaving us with a low BASE str. But mainly it depends on funding your equips your gonna have to figure out yourself but first priority goes to the str requirements of your end game equips then look for your str equips and do a little maths.

If you are really funded, leave it at 60. If you are mid-funded, leave it at 80. If you are going to do regular build, follow the auto stats.
