So i just started an aran this morning. Read alot of guides saying that dex is absolutely pointless on an aran. Well i now have an aran completely dexless, lvl 19 that cant even attack the dejected green mushrooms i need to hunt for one of the aran quests. Anyone wanna help me out? Im currently using noob equips like the lvl 15 polearm 100% scrolled and plain noob warrior equips. Anyone know where I can train to the point of being able to hit green mushies? should i add dex so i have adequate acc for them or scroll for acc? When i actually hit them i do like 150 dmg but thats like 1/30 atks f7. Thanks

Yes, dex is absolutely useless...if you have the funding to go dexless. How much funding are you willing to devote to your aran? If its anything less than 100m or so than I suggest going reg dex or low dex because otherwise you wont even be able to make it to 2nd job (like seriously, you wont be able to hit the monsters in the job-adv place.)

wow.... ROFL u know being dexless is bad unless u can get dex equips that give high dex. the best is to cap your dex at around 40. fomr these lvls on i recommend eitehr gettign 20 dex and lkot sof good dex equips like a 12+ dex bathrboe or CAP ur dex at 40.

Thanks lol i guess ill start adding dex. the only problem tho is that i cant lvl up to get the dex o.O should i start over with a new aran? edit: also i have a bit of a problem with funding. I never really devote much time to my side-project characters. ive devoted alot of time to this dexless nw which is my main at lvl 40 f7. I know that if i fund 100m to my aran, when evan comes out ill be all over it, and ill be out alot of mesos on dex/str equips and weps

[/quote] To clairify what he just said, because I myself had a hard time reading it: "You know being dexless isn't the wisest choice unless you have the accuracy equips to back it up. For these levels I suggest you ether get 20 dex and a lot of 'good' dex equips or cap your dex at 40." In other words, basically what I just said.

Just go dex 40. That's what I did. Decent damage and ability hit most monsters for my training.

[/quote] Why would you waste your time with dex equips unless your going for an Arcglaive? Going for accuracy is better. and I suggest capping your dex at 35, scroll a chain mail with 100% scrolls, clean zhelm, sniper pills, accuracy shoes, karstan, medal, ring, its rather easily to be a dexless Aran, let alone a low dex.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with adding DEX on a warrior character. Seems that everyone thinks "in order to have fun, I must have high damage, and thus, be a ___less!" Wrong. I added DEX according to needs, and as today, I have 15 base DEX, ONLY because I needed the DEX to be at that amount. The amount of stats on your own character shouldn't determine how much fun you're having.

Yeah I know its a little high but I had 0 mesos to start with so i needed the ACC. I find it funny when I see level 10x's missing Gallos and I hit them everytime. :D Just add it according to your funding/needs, it makes it a lot more fun when you don't listen to people who say DEXless is the only way to go.

You won't be able to use your arcglaive anymore. Unless you raise your base or get your own equips.

[/quote] You can do that? on my nw I tried using a dark slain(requires 90 dex) I have 80 base dex and my friends sauna robe had 10dex so I used it and put on dark slain and I took sauna robe of and I couldn't atk WTF
