Do any warriors above lvl 70 still use a japenese map assume i get myself a 81-83 jap map which i believe would be fairly easy to scroll would it be a good idea to use it till i get a Night ravens wing? Or what if i get my hands on 84-90 one unrealistic for me but you never know how long could i use it i went to the weapons thread and it had this equation for 2 hands sword so i got my calculator and i Input 83* 1.21 +4 and i get 104.3 so does that mean i could use that jap map till i get a 105/106 attack sword to beat it? Or i get an even better attack one i could use it even longer? This weapon will be used on a Lvl 76 White Knight and a lvl 50 Fighter The equips i would be using wouldnt be to great just an 8 attack work glove a zhelm, andras helm, maybe some warrior shoes with 3-5 str clean cape, 100% overalls, ect

Jap Map is only useful as long as it's better than your other options. In this case, we would need to know the actual attack of the map before saying considered definitive. A 82 atk sword sounds like it can only prove useful until 90~ish. I can't imagine why you would stick to that for so long, it's power isn't too great when compared in grinding situations. DPH > DPS for monster mob to monster mob grinding.

DPS is only really applicable against monsters with a lot of HP, or against a boss. Of course, personally, I'd prefer seeing my attacks hit fast xd. Keeps you a tiny bit more awake.

As mentioned on your other thread: If you would for some strange reason be looking into Normal(6) swords then yes. It would actually take a little more since you forgot equips and buff. If those add up to, let's say, 40 then it's more like Ceil(123 * 1.2) = 148, or 108 from the sword. Then again, why would you be aiming for a Normal(6) sword in the first place? All of the following would also match the 83 Map's DPS with the same setup: 101 att Red Katana, Astral Blade or Trumpet; 114 att Fast(5) 1h sword (or sword + att shield); 95 att NRW or Ribgol. All of these would cost less than a 108 att Normal(6) sword and the RK could replace it as early as level 70 (the others would take higher levels). Also, to address the other posts: DPS actually is very relevant to training kill rates. Unless you'd have serious trouble KBing with the faster weapon (which is rarer than one would think), DPS will always be a closer approximation to your killing speed than damage per hit. If anything, DPS is actually better against low-HP training monsters than high-HP ones because the higher damaging weapon is much, much less likely to actually kill in fewer hits against a low-HP enemy.

Well, if you want to do some do-it-yourself computations, here's what you do on a calculator. 1. Add your equips and buffs to the Map's attack. 2a. To convert to RK: Multiply step 1 by 8, then divide by 7. 2b. To convert to Fast(5) 1h sword: Find needed RK attack, then multiply by 1.09. 2c. To convert to Fast(5) 2h sword: Multiply step 1 by 1.09. 2d. To convert to Normal(6) 2h sword: Multiply step 1 by 1.2. 3. Subtract equips and buffs from step 2's result. After step 3, you have the total attack needed by another weapon and a shield (if applicable) to match that Map's DPS. If there are KB-related issues (which mostly begin around 8x and end by 100) I tend to recommend aiming a few attack points higher than needed for the faster weapon.

using the RK at 70...i wonder if ppl (like me who are dexless) are going to be able to train properly with enough accuracy. i would myself, if i wasn't dexless, or if i could somehow get the 37 acc that my rohen gives by upgrading my equips...which will be wayy too expensive. not to mention an att shield isn't exactly cheap either. also, 1h swords have a liitttle less range than 2h swords, especially really big ones like the rohen...it's more effective in hitting more mobs(correct me if im wrong) lol and the jap map looks messed. xP but yea, if u get a good map (84 or so), you can prolly use it till NRW. if you can still hit stuff with an RK, by all means go for it. if you like biiiig numbers, lol, go for high att rohen. :P
