Is anyone playins MapleStory on a Netbook?

I was thinking about getting a netbook because I don't use ALOT of RAM, plus it's cheaper than most laptops. I just use Aol Instant Messenger, MapleStory, and sometimes a web browser. If anyone has a netbook, can you tell me if Maplestory lags on a netbook, because I've looked at a couple, and they only have 1GB of RAM. -OR- Can anyone who knows more about this than I do, can you tell me if 1GB ram is enough for maplestory and aim without too much lag?

I have a toshiba mini NB305-N410 notebook i use to link to my xbox 360 for WIFI when i play in my room really cheap laptop i got from my dad but it works runs great on maplestory

ive done it once, on a borrowed netbook, didnt know the specs, and was running it off a thumb drive. it ran, but some of the graphics didnt load well. I think it ran a bit choppy too, but i dont remember for sure. It was also probably a cheap netbook, so yours is likely better.

I've played under those settings before, it isn't fun. 1GB of RAM is kinda needed to do anything with speed in Maple, at least in most servers. My trusty laptop runs on 3GB RAM currently (gonna upgrade to 4 gigs soon), so my lagging days are pretty much over. Back on topic, yes, 1 Gig RAM will work fine, just don't plan on going into c1 or Z-running much until you can get more.

I have an Asus Eeepc with 2gb of ram. I did the upgrade myself and it only costs $25. It runs very smoothly. Nice for some simple training.

better to play a desktop or normal laptop, i dont lag at all. only thing i hate is my computer gets really hot when i play maple, so i needa buy a chill mat

I can't find a regular laptop at that price ($300-$370). I'd have to wait til black friday and even then it's crazy to compete for bargains.
