Kay IMO i can't wait for evans to be released, how ever my friend who also plays maplestory is really p/o that they are coming out. He claims that they will be the worst mage class because of the fact that like with Arans/BW's/Bishops they are gonna be over populated! He thinks this will make them suck as it made those 3 other classes crappy and to common.... Any thoughts?

Evans wont suck, they skills are pretty good, their mp is not that low like people think, and they acutally can boss.

I agree. Evans are gunna have critical hit or w/e and its just way too overpowered as is Aran. what happened to balancing classes? Luckily the balancing patch is comin sometime.

Evans require alot more effort to train than any other mage. The main advantage of evan is that they can boss better.

Yeah... i like the fact they can get to 200 so it may die down quick because if they kinda go the same route they did with arans there will be like 3 million lvl 10 evans dying in a corner LOL.... they only thing that bugs me is that there is gonna be this on the website... this one involves all game servers, and it'll last approximately 10 hours, The patch has been extened for 12 hours, 50 hours later... the patch is complete.

[/quote] Don't forget the subsequent, "We're sorry for the inconvenience but there will be a server maintenance (the day after patch) to fix several bugs that have been brought to our attention."

Best part about Evan is that they get to ride their own Dragon as a Mount at level 200.

Only a few days later it's gonna be sorry for the game crashing every five min due to hackers and bugs ten hour patch all those that were afected will recive maple points *5% of players recive maple points*

The only reason new classes always seem overpowered is because the first wave of people to make them are typically the people who prepared way in advance or who got lucky (like me) and just happened to be making a class that mirrors the legend with equips. The first wave of people will always lvl hella fast, be extremely powerful because the majority of their equips will be godly, and typically not want to be bothered with lower lvls because they have to get their character to w/e the lvl is for w/e event nexon is throwing at them (Evans - Glasses). Also you'll probably have to deal with a lot of ksers for the first week because a lot of the ppl in the first wave will typically have their own Bishop/AM (me :D) or friends to "Protect" their map (mp3, gallops, etc.). So if you're not looking forward to that just log off for a week or two or just become a hene hoe for that period of time xD. Or.....if you have a bishop/AM.....you could always just KS the new class to just be ignorant >_> (2 of my friends do this and i never tell them im playing as a different character til they try to ks me lol -_-) Happy Mapling :D
