What is the go with Merchants?

Do they just sit there ALL day spamming, do they have a bot, or mulitple people at someones house or what? Wouldn't you get board sitting there at the computer spamming the same thing for 12 hours a day? I get board after 5 mins hahaha (same question about the nub idiots that come and advertise stuff all day, i.e. websites, cheap meso, etc)

I hate some merchants.. The bots that stay in the fm LITERALLY 24/7. The always offer from 500k-2m MAX on anything. It's quite annoying seeing as I get 500k offer for a white scroll..

lol yeah i know what you both mean and sometimes they just dont say ANYTHING or they continue the spamming in the trade window

Those are not merchants, they are botters. Which I think is COMPLETELY POINTLESS, because I tried to trade them once to see how much they buy stuff for and they don't even respond. I am completely confused as to how that works....

what they do is Auto chat with Sound effects in maple turned up, and they also crank their comp speckers up so that way they can do household chourse and if someone trades them they hear the "ding" song and ran to the comp to trade and this explans why some times it takes them up to a min to accepct trade

I never actually bother to trade those "merchants" they waste my time. And time is "valuable"

They are there for people who don't know better and will sell their scrolls for extremely cheap.

They use spam bots. EDIT: @WnRB - That's exactly what I do. Except, I usually run it to sell things quickly, since it's too annoying doing "B>@@@@" spams. Good to run it to sell things whenever I'm doing homework or working out or something like that. Doesn't tax much attention.
