pokemon list: -Infernape (42) -Gabite (43) -JIrachi (38?) -Diagala (47) -Gastradon (33) -Luxray (41) What should i improve on? Suggest moves? Is the victory road the best place to train?

I always train my pokemon to lvl60+ before i battle the elite four. I end up beating them with no items on my first try.

Why is everyone telling him to level up to 60+? I'd pick up a water/ice pokemon to waste Bertha (I think that's her name, the ground using one) I believe I had an Azelf at that point and I taught it Flamethrower. Against the psychic trainer, I set up 3 Nasty Plots when he had Bronzong out and just swept. The other trainers were pretty easy with just a team of mid to high 40s and 2 low 50s. (my team was Staraptor, Empoleon, Azelf, Luxray, Garchomp, HM Slave Bibarel)
CupRamen : if i lose in the elite four, do i los emoney or anything? so no harm?
You lose half your money if I remember correctly. Just stock up on healing items and keep trying to beat them without using items till you're confident you can beat them if you want.

I recommend six level 100 Mudkips. But of course, that's a challenge to some to obtain, so, in place of that, I recommend: Garchomp Level 55+ Draco Meteor Dragon Claw Dig Earthquake Infernape Level 65+ Flare Blitz Strength Endeavor Return Luxray Level 60+ Thunder Bite Spark Volt Tackle(Not sure?) Drapion Level 70+ X Scissor Cross Poison Ice Fang Hyper Beam Lucario Level 65+ Aura Sphere Close Combat Swords Dance ExtremeSpeed and Dialga Level 70+ Roar of Time Earth Power Dragon Claw Flash Cannon or Palkia Level 70+ Spatial Rend Hyper Beam Dragon Claw Heal Block That was a team I designed specifically for the Elite Four. It took about an hour to finish with the in-battle animations on, and required me about five hours dedicated specifically to obtaining it. Alternatively, you could just go to the GTS and get them. In hindsight, some of the levels could've been lower. Some of the attacks are a little off, as I haven't had some of these Pokemon in quite a while, but they should be close enough. PM me if you need any more help. Best of luck!

lilbabyvietWhat I do is have a "shield pokemon" where I throw them out before I'm about to get owned and switch in a better counter to it.

I agree with what some people are saying. Gastrodon won't really help you out. Switch it out for a Gyarados (imo the best offensive water pokemon you can get) Get it Ice Fang for ground person. Infernape will undoubtedly come in handy. Get it to 55. (My starter is always my highest level and at 55 he should be good) Evolve your Gabite to Garchomp so you can have Crunch to lay waste to the psychic guy. Luxray will help out some too. Train it. I dont like grass types, but Roserade is a good pokemon to have around to take out what your others can't. Dialga would be useful. So yeah get your team to high 40s, low 50s. Starter mid-high 50s. My team on Diamond was Infernape, Staraptor, Garchomp, Roserade, Gyarados, and a Luxray.

You may want to add a machoke. If you can evolve it, and it has the ability that makes all attacks hit, it's beast. Make sure it know Dynamic Punch and Cross Chop, and you're good.

Blehh, I hate the 4th gen Pokemon. I couldn't even finish Pearl, they were so ugly. I filled my team all with 1st gens, tho. You need a Gyarados and a Cloyster and a Dewgong and a Kingler and a Slowbro and a Poliwrath. What are you talking about? I don't lean toward water types.
