Ever had this dream?

I know it's not a very common dream. But it's a recurring dream. I dream that i am suddenly falling from a high elevation usually of some mountains then suddenly i wake up. Has anyone ever had this dream before?

Everyone has. I remember finding the wikipedia article on it. I'll find it. EDIT: Couldn't find it. Whenever I have this dream, it's more of a pre-dream. Like, right before I fall asleep, I visualize myself walking or running. Then I trip, and me tripping in the dream makes my body jump IRL.

Yeah, my mom always said it was cause I was growing. Which sort of makes sense cause I got them really often when I was 14-15 and it slowly sort of petered off and now I really only get them once a month or something.

if you google "falling dream" you'll notice that it's actually very common but no, i've never had this dream

Sure, he's white, and may have a particular hair cut and forehead, but how many people have you seen with that haircut? You know how many people you see in a day? Thousands (assuming you live in a big city and drive). You know how many people you've seen that have looked like that guy? Probably thousands. It's just a trick on the mind, that's all.

Yeah, the feeling of just falling/tripping and once you hit the ground your body jolts and you wake up.

All the time. except when i have those kinds of dreams i can actually feel and hear the wind rushing around me. and when i wake up my body will be in a lot of pain like i actually felt the impact of the fall.

Ive had sex in a dream, but im a virgin i was like "THIS ROX!" lol. but no, never have had a falling dream. but i have cried in my dreams and woke up to find myself crying irl.
