what wep. does page use. is a page or fighter better?

Pages use swords or maces. It's up to you to decide what you want - check some of the warrior guides.

People don't even research enough to know what weapons a job uses before they ask someone else to make up their mind for them? And people don't even know which weapons a Page uses before they assume that a Fighter fits some obscure and esoteric definition of "better"?

I love how people automatically assume fighters are better without any explanation of ANYTHING. well to answer your first question, pages use swords and blunt weapons which are sometimes refereed as maces. Pages and fighters usually tend to use swords compared to their axe and blunt weapon counterparts due to a lack of speed and a poor slash/stab ratio causing unstable damage. for your second question, at 2nd job, pages and fighters are basically equal seeing that their main skills are the same and the only difference is that fighters have a buff called rage which gives weapon attack but is easily replaced by buying warrior elixirs and pages have threaten which until the balance patch, is a pretty useless debuff for enemies which reduces enemy def and att by a 20. at 3rd and 4th job, heroes and paladins become better in different situations as paladins shine when it comes to elementally weak training and FOR NOW, heroes are better at bossing as after the balance patch, paladins should win out in 1vs1 dmg and and mobs of 4+ while heroes win out in mobs of 2-3 on neutral enemies.

Please please please.... What I'm going to assume is that most people that are going to post on this thread is either "g0 f1ght3r d3y is l33t" or "fighter owns pages becuz they cant use swords...." Is this all because of what I said earlier? Well to be honest. I am sick of people making pages/wk and paladins. What the balance patch did was promoting people to make them.

[/quote] My thoughts exactly, I've been on this forum for more than about 4 year's and I've dealt with many of these kinds of forums proving people wrong about the difference between Pages and Fighters. Oh btw I learned that quote from one my teachers, who mainly is correct 90% of the time. Think.... for a second..... You shouldn't be sick about people making Pages, but you should be sick of people making fighters and trying to prove they are better than everyone jus because they are a fighter.
