They're called Himes in KMS. Or JMS. Whatever. People naturally called them Himes before they came out in GMS, and when they finally did come out, since we didn't have the little monster name function back then, everyone called them Himes.

sleepyxdudeIt's because they are called Himes in JMS (hime = princess in Japanese) We basically just adopted it because it's easier to type and sounds better I guess =/

Maybe it stands for something Hairy Indian Monsters Exercising Supremeness (no racism intended, please don't flame.) (You try thinking of a word that starts with I that makes sense in that phrase.)

I think that's what it's called in KMS. Or JMS. Some people said it's "Princess" in Jap.

- 2 syllables < 3 - less to type - same reason why people used to call the ST the Ribgol and Black Crow Tengu (original names before their GMS release)

It's mostly because one group of people called it that shorthand, and it caught on. If it was American in origin, we would have called em' DGS or something as an acronym for dreamy ghosts.
