i broke up with my boyfriend cuz he refused to support me through a rough situation between me and some friends, i broke up with him, and he wasn't a very good partner in the past, so i messed up his fb. The next day he decided to come with his friends to threaten to beat me up. Who did the lowest thing in this situation, me or him? okay edit this guys, i'll show you the situation he refused to support me on. http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1418408/1/26214712This_angers_me_quite_a_bit.html#26214712 This might not be a legit reason to why i messed up his fb, the situation posted above was probably one of the worst situations i've ever been in, and for him to simply refuse to be on my side, support me, and get me through it pissed me off even more, he was never really a good bf but i stuck it in there because we liked each other, he was cheap, inconsiderate and stood me up multiple times, and i still hung in there -.- but the not supporting me thing was the last straw for me so i really think he deserves a messed up fb.

It's one of those situations where both of you are wrong. After you broke up with him, you should just be done with him. Although threatening to beat you up is wayyyy too crazy over a messed up FB.

[/quote] He obviously had a reason for not supporting you, albeit possibly a dumb one. For that reason you discounted all the good things he might have done for you? You then proceeded to go on his Facebook page and mess it up? It might have been a false threat but to be honest you're both horribly immature.

it is he, you can report him to the police because he threatened you. FB is only a fictional thing, threatening you can actually be reported to the police

How sad. Grow up and realize that messing up someone's FB is ridiculously juvenile and, based on that, I recommend staying out of any and all relationships until you become more mature. EDIT: However, since messing up someone's FB is pretty stupid from the outset, it isn't even close to "the lowest thing" you can do.

Well you provoked him into doing it, so you're both at fault. But I think you had less of a reason to act the way you did. He got mad for a reason, because you bothered him AFTER you broke up with him. You already dumped him, why would you need to do more? :P

[/quote] he forgot my b-day and dismissed the idea of a valentines day gift, i had one but my friend gave it to him when his friends were threatening me, he ripped it up.

I think you overreacted to his lack of support for you, but he overreacted even more to what you did. He did the worse thing, but what you did was immature too.
