How To Fix Ipod Headphones?

Today I Was Listening To My Ipod And Realized That My Right Headphone Wasn't Working. I Moved Around The Headphone Line And Noticed It Worked In Certain Positions. Is There A Way To Make It Back To Normal?

You could try dissecting the wire and soldering the frayed ends together but i recommend against that and just buying new headphones.

Does Apple still replace their headphones? If they do just bring it into your nearest Apple store for a replacement. If not, find another pair online.

It's your ipod jack, it has become loose. Try it with a different pair of earphones (same diameter of earphone plug), and if its the same problem, then definitely ipod jack (the whole where the earphones go in) has become loose. If not, then it's a clear earphone problem, so just replace them, maybe some skullcandy?

Just get a new one. Ipod headphones are crap. I kept using those, until it broke, then used dollar store one. Then someone gave me a 50 dollar sony one and I never turned back. Huge difference in sound quality, I can actually hear the bass now.

Swift, it could be the problem I said above, plug in your headphones into your computer's jack, and see if the right hand side problem is still there.

I agree cheap sony earbuds for like 20-30 bucks have a huge difference in quality.
