Drop rate for sunglasses?

I'm doing the questline for the Andras and I've been hunting Orange Mushrooms for about 30 minutes now without getting the sunglasses. Is it supposed to be taking this long? Also, can I hunt Cynical Orange Mushrooms for them instead, since those have a map with undiluted spawn?

I did that quest on both of my Arans just this week, and got the glasses in under 1 minute on both.
