Would you prefer a Bishop or an Archmage in Pink Bean?

I'd go with a F/P AM. Pinky's neutral to poison as well as lightning and Paralyze is more powerful than CL.

None of them. Stick with sins and the other classes. Ok if I HAD to choose I'd pick f/p because of their damage. Fighting him with a magician class....not a proponent of it.

I would probably go with A/M(well any) since obviously more damage, paralyze is a better choice of attacking due to its damage, but chain lightning could be useful for spawns of mini-beans, but nonetheless its only a 3-5k damage, just need an extra 50 magic attack to replace that.

A bishop would be totally useless at pb since all its skills are easily replaced like the above poster showed, and having a bishop wastes a spot that could be taken by an attacker or someone more beneficial. Bishops would be less likely to be taken than AMs, and even then probably only 1 or 2 AMs would be taken just to clean the occasional summons. Not too sure what other uses there would be for AMs, but sure beats a bishop's use there.

CL ive heard has a faster casting speed than that of parlyze. if this is true than an I/l would be more desired, due to a superior DPM over time. but lets get realistic, no AM will ever be invited to PB because of their elements, it will rest solely on the people they know.

[/quote] I think they're the same casting rate, but to me paralyze always seems to look faster, crappy range though. Paralyze has higher base att than CL although it's 1vs1 and close range. An AM would have a way better chance of getting into a pb run than a bishop, but I'm not too sure why they woul even bother bringing a mage anyways.

[/quote] Cl does have a faster casting speed, but only by 3 more casts per minute, not enough to make up to the 30 base attack less compared to Paralize. [/quote] I agree that no AM will be taken to PB run, but they're the only class that does 100% of they're damage on PB, while everyone else does 50%. (i know it's still not enough -_- !).
