How many hours of homework/studying do you do on a daily basis?

I usually get 3-4 hours of homework. I limit my studying to 1 hour if necessary.

I'm advised to do 20 hours of independant work a week outside of lectures.

Math, I usually finish it in class but when I don't like ten minutes. AP Euro, LOL DON'T EVEN START. English, my teacher is a lesbian who seems to always be on her period and assigns about 1 hour to 2 hours of homework a night Chemistry, once in a while, we get an assignment and that usually takes an hour Spanish, I can finish it in class, but when I procrastinate I usually do it in like three hours

Cardiothoracic surgery is a great field!You should go for it if you like it! I'm aiming on Cardiology/Neurology residencies,surgery is not for me...but who knows,once i do a stage,if i like it,i might try orthopedics or cardio surgery.NeuroSurgery is WAY too competitive and TOO long...(6 year after Medical school+1-3 years fellowship,if not a significant Ph.D. research to finish it off...)
