ITs the devil who creates sin and pain. the devil tempts you to do something and sometimes you do it sometimes you don't. like in genisis when the devil tempts adam and eve to eat the apple.

[/quote] So, in effect, he made Satan, seeing how he made him one of the angels, so he indirectly made him. And to someone who's atheist, this choice obviously isnt affected at ALL by the Devil, seeing how they dont believe in him. Dont try and convince people of your beliefs, it wont get far.

So if he's god, why can't he just snap his theoretical fingers and dispose of the devil? This is one of the flaws I see with religions. They depict god as all-powerful and benevolent, but if that's true, why is there evil in the first place?

[/quote] since an ahiest doesnt belive in the devil doesnt mean that the devil exists. the devil tempts them to think that gods word isn't true. @above:because the reason he created satin so that not everyone would automaticilly belive in him. its just like you trying to date a computer created person and all the computer created person would say to you is i love you and you would never get in aguments.
