Who here is dmg hungry? I know I'm not. Lets think about it. Lets say you can do 4k dmg at like Lv. 58. You can easily take down a boss no sweat, But wheres the fun in that? Say you are a normal mapler. You do normal dmg, You see a strong boss. You die to him a couple of times. But then after hard training, You finally beat him/her. Doesn't that make you feel good? And then someone that has like a zhelm/dep/pac/12atk WGs looks at the same boss and kills him/her in like 4 hits. Thats no fun. Maplestory is a game to have fun, not to waste money on to be strong. To me, Being weak is a challenge. And who would't want a challenge?

I have Low damage. 3k on SLIMES (Using Slime Weakness) so yeah Im WEAK.

I don't care a lot about my damage, but I still add onto it when I can. I do like totally whaling on some bosses (like Dodo/Levi), but I also like bosses where my efforts into my damage can help (Zak, Scar, Anego, BF, etc). xD To me, there's nothing wrong with damage whoring. xD

I'm pretty sure Beginners will have to be insanely funded to boss. Then, its just frustrating, not fun. Attack, get kbed backward, pot, pot, pot, pot, attack repeat til boss is dead.

It is cool having nice equips and it does help, but I don't care for damage. To be honest, I think bossing is meant to be done with a bunch of other people, not to solo. It is why you require at least 6 people in a party to sign up for zak, scar, etc. and you should have a lot of attackers with you in the party/parties. It just takes too long otherwise unless you are a very high lvl with godly eq. Playing with others is a much better experience and when you are with others you are most likely going to have an attack increase with MW, SE or something. You should still invest in good eq though for later, it really helps with training and bossing. People make a big deal out of damage cause they are competitive. I have never called someone a noob cause they have less damage than me cause your better off making friends than being rude. It is much more benefical.

When I had all my equips my 59 DW was doing 8-9k damage at mp3.
