So I got this stupid virus on my computer that's called anti-virus vista 2010. It keeps on bugging me about privacy threats and stealth intrusions so I googled it and it's a virus. I got rid of it easily last time using malware bytes but it came back. I tried using malware bytes again but this time it doesn't work and it's undetected by it. Help please?

Go to Start All programs Accessories System tools system restore, to the day before you had the virus. That should make it go away when you start you computer. Then download Avg and scan.. Should work.

Wow, I feel sorry for you. I had the same problem too a few days ago. Lemme find the solution, and I'll edit my post in a sec EDIT: Don't listen to these guys, they don't know how fricking annoying this thing is. You can't start up Maplestory, am I right?

I had that a few days ago too. I had my friend send me Malwarebytes and and I installed it. Then do full system scan and then delete whatever threats popup I think there should be a guide to how to remove it on the internet. Just google it.

[/quote] Yeah, what she said Google "How to remove Anti virus 2010" SYSTEM RESTORES DO NOT WORK. THIS PROGRAM HIJACKS YOUR COMPUTER. You cannot access any programs (like Maplestory) and blocks them. System restore doesn't take it off, I tried

I usually use registry and clean expert it gets rid of all the things that i don't need on it and makes my pc faster

find it in your program files and delete the exe file. or. restore your system to a previous date. dont you have virus protection software on your computer? if you dont, get avg free it works fine.

Go online and type that virus thing on google and look for a removal. U will probably download malware bytes and it'll delete it. I deleted mine yesterday with that program

I got the same thing a few weeks ago and I couldnt even get on the internet with mine, so I just downloaded the antivirus that came with my laptop when I got it (kaspersky) and it got rid of it fairly easily. All I can say is, good luck getting rid of it...
