Why would you pay for NX?

Really? Why? The system for nexon is made so you gotta spend a little bit of money, but over and over again. Such as Gachapon and Restat scrolls. You can spend hundreds of dollars for a game that is supposed to be free? Why don't people just go to Pay-to-play MMORPGS instead? In the end its cheaper and you get an overall better customer support. I suppose its because a bunch of little kids play maple story and just charge their parents credit cards through the roof and don't really care. But damn...

Yeah? People who spend hundreds on NX are a little crazy, but I spend way less on NX than I would if I were to play something like World of Warcraft.

Well people spend all this money on things cosmetic, I mean cmon, 30 dollars for a digital wedding? Maybe if the marriage was legal in real life it'd be a good value, but you'd end of spending a truckload of money. There is no value in the NX system at all, its just made as a scam to bring in revenue

Because there's no force behind NX. It's optional. It gives you the feeling you yourself have control over how much you choose to spend. I decided not to.

At least, thats what would happen with my money. Im sure thats the case for most people who spend NX.

[/quote] Perhaps, but the difference is with cable you get more content, Maple story doesn't give any new content for buying the game, all you get is cosmetic items. The appeal of clothes would wear off pretty quick, so its much different than paying for cable.

Those things actually do improve gameplay.

Apples sell for 4mil~5mil which is roughly 400 NX~ 500 NX. 25k nx would therefor be about 50 apples, which can be obtained in a month of APQing. After that it's daily profit. And NX is more optional than you think. MTS makes it so that anyone with a shop permit can have more thatn 500k NX and not spend a dime on the game.

Well it's just like saying all video games are a waste. Oh you bought COD, you wasted money. You bought SSBB, theres more wasted money. Videogames is just like buying nx. You don't need it, but it just improves your enjoyment. I hardly buy new videogames since I have Gamefly. So the money I usually get I buy an nx card. Seriously, nothings wrong with it. You are wasting Pixles when you buy COD or w/e.

I've spent $50 on nx in 6 months. That would've cost $90 if I was playing WoW. Runescape would've been cheaper but I dislike runescape.
