How to fix your IP Ban

I've noticed that a lot of people are posting similar topics to what happened to me. Here's what happened to me. I opened maple, When i tried to log in, it said my account was deleted or block for suspicious activity. I tried many other accounts and they all said the same so i concluded that i was IP banned. These are the steps i took to get myself unbanned.( This should work for most people, not all) First, turn off your Internet Modem. Wait about 2-3 minutes then turn it back on.( This should change your IP. Again, it will only work for some people) Second, log into your account on the site. It should tell you that you have to verify your account again. Third, after you verify your account, it should ask you to change ur password again. When you finish changing your password, your account should work. This will only work for some people so don't flame me and or say it didn't work because I've stated it only works for some people many times.

if you are on a STATIC IP, it won't work. If you on a DYNAMIC IP, it will work.

The reason this usually doesn't work is that the ISP just reassigns you the same IP address you had before you turned off the modem. The only case where you'd get a different one is if someone else turned their modem on BEFORE you did and grabbed the number you used to have. Otherwise you get the same number as before. Like YoritoKun said, it works SOMETIMES, but not all the time.

of course there are programs you can use to change your IP too. Although this is not a recommended approach considering the shady nature of the sites you dl them from

But keep in mind u will also experience slower speeds having to travel through a 2 ips....the original ip (if ur on static, u can't change it no matter wat u do but u can mask it or go through a proxy so it reads a diff. IP but technically ur original IP is still there), and the proxy ip. It's best just to swtich over to dynamic ip provider.

If you guys want to change your IP. I can post a guide for non router or non wireless users. Its 100% sure proof as it has work numerous times for me. Only works with cable modems and probably doesnt work for DSL users

If you were IP banned. It should take you to a IP blocked support site. You should fill that out and when you do also reactivate your account. It should work by then.
