Worth it to 'trade' in my Bow?

Hey basil, Since I am pretty demotivated to play my CB, mostly because of dual bladers, I was playing with the idea of restarting my level 100 ranger. This lv100 ranger has no zhelm any longer, and slightly messed up AP ( maybe a few in HP, 5 int, 7 luk) which I will not be getting AP resets for. I can save up to re-helm this character though, although I do not have enough money at the moment. It also has no overall, shoes, or bow. I got demotivated to train that character, because hurricane doesnt look that entertaining, although it does look quite awesome, but I would like to be able to contribute something to a party. My other idea, my main idea, would be to start a crossbowman. All the new PQs and areas would mean getting to lv70 quite easily, and I could share my perma nx visor between my CB and the crossbowman, although I can do that with the ranger as well. This crossbowman would have perfect stats as well. My main idea for this is having a bit more variety at fourth job, and also, the ability to freeze monsters, which looks like an interesting addition to gameplay *although there are problems with it now* , plus I hear they train faster than bowmasters in fourth job. I could share a fair amount of equips with it, and it would have decent enough funding. One note is that I do not play maple very much anymore, and I probably wont get to 120 on a new character. Would it be better to just make a wind archer? EDIT : Another quick note: I hear snipe has a long cooldown if you live further away from nexon's servers, and I live in toronto, but I dont find anything laggy and have decent internet connection, so would that be a problem? Or, should I play a TB or my outlaw? Any input or advice would be appreciated

i say continue your outlaw OT: Dual Bladers still use regular daggers so dont sell the ones you have. I would also so just to save your armor.

Well, I should have said that the bowmen ideas were first choice over my outlaw, which is lv73 by the way. Dont worry, I wasnt planning on selling everything, and if I was, I would probably sell my dagger now, since its a STR dagger, and duals dont use STR I dont think.

well i would make a new bowman but that is just me. if you don't think you will make very far into 4th job or to it at all then go ahead and make a WA but remember they don't have SE and are weaker so no bossing for you. i would make a regular bowman. from what i hear the actual cool down for snipe is whatever it says plus 5 seconds and distance just makes it longer. but pierce is also quite nice. another thing to take note of though is that BM can stun which is basically the same effect as freeze and we get that in second job. we kind of get the best of all worlds being a BM you will probably find it easier to get into boss runs and PQ's as a bowmaster because people are still under this false allusion that MM don't SE. so in my opinion BM's are better but if you dont want to spend much on funding MM have far cheaper weapons

Let me remind you that when you use hurricane it wont let you pot, so if you dont plan on buying auto hp & mp along with a pet then u will fail as a bm. Your dpm will be lower and u will be having LOTS of deaths, at least at zakum.

Some bug on gms or?`It works fine on my bm in ems just put it on like 5%-10% and it should work o_o. Either way if it doesnt please send a mail to nexon about this, I think they will try to fix it(no sarcasm).

But, I have enough potting control that I hardly die on my CB so long as I can take one hit, allowing me to solo manon before lv90 without ME. I'm already a lv100 ranger, is it really worth it to start over?

No, don't start over, hopefully you can make enough money to ap reset the extra AP. Keep the hp though.

[/quote] if you cant train your bm without auto pots then YOU fail as a player, last time i checked auto mp doesnt work with hurricane

And dont call me fail because I train my bm with auto pot, does this mean every drk fail using auto pot to keep serk up?

At leve 100 it just isn't worth it to start over... a few AP isn't a HUGE deal unless you are a damage whore T_T so just continue the Ranger or CB because Dual Bladers won't replace Shadowers ever. They are still needed in lategame bossing like the above post said.
