How do elewands/elestaffs work?

Exactly what the title says. How do they work? Do the ones that require luk and the ones that don't require luk have the same effect?

Yeah, even though the stats/req's are different, I think it goes like this: Main stat = 1.25x multiplier Secondary stat = 1.10x multiplier Might have changed so .. meh. And I think if you attack something of the opposite element or something it's like 0.75x damage.

Elemental Wands don't require LUK (level 70 & 130 Ones) Elemental Staffs do require it (Level 103 & 163) Elemental Wand/Staff 1 Gives a 125% Boost to Fire attacks and 10% Boost to Poison. Elemental Wand/Staff 2 Gives a 125% Boost to Poison attacks and 10% Boost to Fire. Elemental Wand/Staff 3 Gives a 125% Boost to Ice attacks and 10% Boost to Lightning. Elemental Wand/Staff 4 Gives a 125% Boost to Lightning attacks and 10% Boost to Ice. Elemental Wand/Staff 5 Gives a 125% Boost to Fire attacks and 10% Boost to Poison. Elemental Wand/Staff 6 Gives a 125% Boost to Poison attacks and 10% Boost to Fire. Elemental Wand/Staff 7 Gives a 125% Boost to Ice attacks and 10% Boost to Lightning. Elemental Wand/Staff 8 Gives a 125% Boost to Lightning attacks and 10% Boost to Ice. If you use the wrong staff/wand with your element, it gives a 75% damage reduction.

Wow, thanks alot guys, sorry for reasking a question btw. So just one last thing: In theory, if i am casting paralyze against a skelegon, and it hits an average of 1000 damage without an elewand, will it hit an average of 1250 damage if i was using an elewand 6?

[/quote] Yes, with 6. IF you used 5 it'd be 1100 damage.

[/quote] Pretty accurate except its 25% boost not 125% and its 25% damage reduction not 75%.
