umm so im on a mac and i dont wanna lose my bank account and i accidentally went to a site that says i got keylogged. so is it for both mac and windows or just windows? idc about ms just my money

There isn't a virus that can affect both Macs and Windows, so if your Mac is really infected with something (which by the way shouldn't happen unless you entered in your password for something to give it administrative rights), then your Windows side should be fine.

Macs are just as vulnerable to viruses as Windows machines are, it's just that most virus writers don't bother with the 4 or 5 Macs out in the world. You should have SOME kind of virus scanner on your Mac and run it REGULARLY to be sure you haven't picked up anything that might cause problems. (I had some friends who ran a small magazine and when they went into their printers one time to pick up the issues, the printer guy was almost in tears because a customer had brought in a job on a floppy disk that had a virus on it that had wiped out all his Macs and deleted ALL his customer jobs.) If you were running Windows when the virus popup appeared, you've most likely picked up a "fake anti-virus trojan" from the flash ads like on Basilmarket. You can eliminate those by downloading and running "Malwarebytes" (under Windows), which is known to remove most of those things. Hopefully a Windows trojan won't know how to access the Mac partitions on your hard drive so that side of things should be safe from any Windows based viruses or keyloggers.

Lol how long ago was that? And that's basically "Hopefully a Windows trojan doesn't have a reimplementation of HFS to allow it to have write access when not even BootCamp allows it".
