Can someone please explain this new Patch to me?

Hi. I recently saw about u need to change ur password each 3 months (I remebered my E_Mail and my B-Day. But i dont understand about the new IP Ban. I have like 6 Accounts all of friends who quitted and i have some cool items there. I also have 2 Pcs. Can i chage 3 passwords on one PC and 3 in the other one? Also i live in europe and i dont know if i can log in trought the website because Combat Arms dont let me doit because im in Europe. Thnx for all Also im gonna say Nexon ruined maple with all this security. Its only a game not the NASA...

Yes. If you change 5 or more accounts you get IP banned due to "suspicious activity". I suppose you could switch computers to do that. I'm pretty sure different computers have different IP addresses. o.O

My friend changed 2 accounts info with nexon's new system and he got baned on one but not the other. On the otehr hand, I only changed one account and I'm not baned and did live in USA.

I think they all have the same IP. I think the IP Changes with different internet connections. And I like have 5 o-o. Because some are my sisters.

ALL computers at your house will have the same IP address. Be safe- change no more than 3 from your house, then go to a library or a friend's house and change no more than 3 from there. My guess is that it's to prevent hackers from mass changing stolen account passwords, but they screwed up by instituting it at the same time as making everyone change all their passwords. Also, it's going to happen every three months from now on because they plan to force password changes every three months. And yes- anyone with more than one person in the house who plays Maple is likely to be severely screwed as well if they all try to change their passwords. And- you can't play if you DON'T change your password. Well done, Nexon.

I'm scared to log in or do anything right now. I haven't touched maple since this patch ended. Is that the point of this patch? To ban legit players and scare others from playing? If so, it worked.

But when i saw the new changing password thing and the starting page I got really scared. Idk what to do

ughhhhh I've played maple for like 4 years or so. Playing that long.. they should know that having like 3 characters for 3 of those years isn't enough for most people. How could they assume none of us would make a second account? Or a third? or more? I love to try new classes. I don't understand how nexon could be this stupid...

I usually do that anyway to let the inevitable glitches and bugs settle out, and get all the rollbacks and emergency server checks out of the way before I go in and waste my time doing things that will likely get rolled back or patched in a day or two. But this time I'm going to wait until they FIX these idiot login bugs and screwups before I risk my accounts. I'm hoping they'll get it straightened out pretty soon and I'll be able to get in without having to worry about how many characters in my password, or how many characters I have, or whether or not they think I'm stealing from them ("billing problems") or any of the other "glitches".
