Can slingers PYPQ at all if so what skills can they use to attack teh monsters, and is there a skill you can use at blank range/whacking range? Thank you for your help

Ssk until you get a decent level splitter/burner. Put them on a macro and there's the ultimate PyPQer.

Pre-3rd Job, Somersault Kick is your best bet. If you do it unarmed you can attack really fast, but your damage will be low so you won't get as many Cools.
