Well maybe everyone isn't as dumb as me... but I tried to login through desktop - fail. Tried to login through site. Error message. <3 I may be dumb but not as dumb as nexon!

@ Lachiiee or however you spell it- I'm getting pretty sick of people bashing on nexon. I mean come on. They are trying to actually improve your security and improve your gaming experience, but nooooo, you have to be so ungrateful and say NEXON IS DUMB LETS MESS MAPLESTORY UP. Look man, If you don't like the company, don't play the game. But you can't stop because you are soooo addicted. That makes complete sense. You hate the company for trying to make your account more secure so you can actually play, but yet you keep playing. Grow up, and actually be grateful that the game is still running, because if they shut their servers down, you would probably freak out and get depressed. so stop whining.

Well from what i can see right now, they are forcing us to log onto the website to use the game. Why? Give me a valid reason as far as security goes? Im a network admin, the only reason this is happening is because they need more traffic on the website for advertizing revenues, or the new games website they are becoming soon. I am not bashing Nexon, im saying, stop playing with us saying this is for security reasons.

[/quote] I'm 23 years old, I quit for two years and came back merely coz I missed my friends. Don't really play much - I actually have a life including a kid, job, university and husband. But after two years away nexon is doing all the exact same things. I just thought they might have figured out a way to pre test things better and say the actual times of patches/server checks instead of extensions upon extensions etc. Sorry if iFail but nexon does too! @Nureru - I'd be happy if their notices actually gave instructions that worked. Which in this case they didn't.

Same here, except for the kid job and university and stuff... but how do you think the people feel who work on the game get blasted for no reason when they are trying to do something good so you can have fun. It's hard keeping a game like this in check in my opinion.

[/quote] GMS is one of the last versions to get nearly every expansion... shouldn't that mean they can learn from the mistakes of all the other versions?
