Noticing a trend lately

First generation pirates will have probably noticed the rather large increase of new gunslingers lately (perhaps prior to hearing the balancing patch 'unbalacing slingers' or becaue of our DPS?) Nobody took us seriously back then, why the bandwagon now?

Yep, when people started posting around about the balance patch making 'omg slingers good'. It doesn't matter that they're mostly improved in before fourth job (Where they will still be pretty weak), people hear they're good now and make them. Ohwell, I have my slinger items already, inflation is no concern of mine any more.

I dont like the possibility of people acting like dexless sins on gunslingers, trashing the class down to being an infamous ksing class simply because of arrogant damage wh0res ~_~;

Yeah I trained My ass off fo 120 lvls to be different and Now to see a bunch of kids trying to do the same is not so fun. But the balence patch if far ahead of us so lets hope that well be a high enough lvl before the real bandwagon starts.

=( i think i understand why. The reason i think people are suddenly making them is because its finally being spread that after 3rd job, they are godly. I REALLY like gunslingers because they arent like 95% of the sin population. A holes, and dmg wh0res like you said... I tried making a gunslinger but quit around lvl 30 lol

I honestly... Hm. I'm noticing another "trend" that's upsetting me a great deal. It's this stupid fanctionism that's starting to grow within the Pirate class and subclasses. If it's not Gunslinger vs. Brawler it's Old vs. New. Who cares if more people are using the class? It's just...a class. Besides, maybe they were inspired to make a 'slinger because of high-level Corsairs like you guys. Besides the 'slinger class looks amazingly fun. Floating in the air while SSKing around? Flying pigs? Who wouldn't want to make one? I'm not really ranting it's just, I don't like where things are starting to go. I'll agree that it was nice being one of only a handful of pirates that actually made it past 100 and I also felt a little claustrophobic when a new surge of Buccs started to flood in. but if anything they should be embraced instead of ostracized and treated like possible symptoms of an oncoming plague. D:

Ehh, just be glad leeching is patched. Instead of a bunch of nub gunslingers, you'd see a bunch of really nub corsairs.

ive had my slinger since they came out :P but lets hope most of them quit at 30~70

I've made a slinger, but it's been put on hold due to slow training, once I make it to around 100 on my brawler, then i'll pick him back up again (: HI ANDREW!
