Pyramid PQ - Pyramid Power Attack help

For the Pyramid Power Attack that requires a combination of either 500 kills or (x kills + x cool = 500), and you have to press down, up and then CTR? That doesn't work for me. I even put my Attack (not a skill) on the CTR button and it still doesn't work. I read that you have to press down and then hold up? I tried that and it doesn't work either. I am a mage if that means anything... Any suggestions?

do you press it in sequence? do you press them one at a time? don't keep the buttons down just press them in order down + left + attack

You have to press them in the exact order without pressing anything else, hold down the button after you press them, and do it quickly. It always works for me when I do it that way.

ok it says down plus up plus ctrl first of all, you press and hold down, then press and hold up, then press and hold your attack button [doesnt have to be control if you changed it on your hotkeys window] and it needs to be pretty fast. but they should all be held down at the end of the combination. and it is pretty obvious when you get a power attack.

erm im a mage too. and i can do it, trying pressing up + down + and ur normal button all at once rlly fast, u have to do it rlly fast according to some ppl

if your attackbutton(hitting with ur wand like a noob) is hotkeyed somewhere else, then you press that.
