Mages: Useless?

Yeah, even bishops. watching the vid of JMS killig PB I just noticed that there was not a single mage, not even bishops (since we can't heal cause me might kill the whole party and zombify isn't dispeleable and wheel killed our resurrection ability), so what's the point of making a mage nowadays if we are not needed in one of the bigger goals of the game?

mages weren't made for bosses just fast leveling EDIT: plus they have flashy skills but they do level fast

I don't like to boss really. Go me? They had to sacrifice the mages/bishops because of the time limit, attackers are more necessary and needed to kill pink bean in time. If there was a longer time limit, they'd probably bring some bishops but you'd need to be experienced considering zombify, etc.

...Because its my story? OT: It may be "useless" in some specific high-tier situations, but mostly clerics are useful- in any other pq's (like zakum and whatnot) mages are popular... and more importantly, useful.

I think "just" for Pink Bean, Mages serve no need. If the people are able to Pink Bean, they must have an incredible amount of HP (wash) funding. Mages serve no need in Pink Bean if the runners wish to finish. For each mage, the run loses about 1 million per minute in damage (on average).

I made a mage because it is an MMO. I can pick up a stick with a string and become a bowman, I can pick up a knife from the kitchen I am a bandit, I can pick up a toy sword I am a warrior, I can start punching I am a brawler, I can pick up a gun from my local gang area and become a gunner, I can pick up a hammer I am a warrior with a BW. But a mage... i can't really summon astroids from the sky at will nor blizzards. Nor can I freeze anything in real life, if I can get a flame thrower and a poison bomb, but thats about the mage i am going to get in real life. But I love ice, so I became an I/L because it was an MMO, oh ya for a Healer class, you can not heal people in real life unless if you go threw an education that will be for 7 years with lots of dollars, but in an MMO I can heal you for free!

Do NOT go down my path. Almost all of my exp comes from bossing, which is nice, but sometimes I wish I wasn't so addicted to it (I rarely grind more than 30 mins before running off to fight a boss). xD
