Gene 30 worth it?

I have 2 bishop freinds, they are the same level, they are both reg luck, and they were both using the starter equips at Skellies, the only difference is, one has Gene 30, and one has Gene 20. The one with Gene 30 was hitting about 70k, and the one with Gene 20 was hitting about 60k. Is Gene 30 really worth all that money? I want to know for when (and if) I become a bishop. I would leave gen at 20, Focus on other (MW, Res, Etc) and then max gen once you have things such as lvl 30 MW. But it's totally up to you.

if u can afford 1.5 bil at least in skillbooks, sure else, not *gene 30 costs 600mil, so 3 tries at maximum worst ish ^^ IM APPROXIMATING

Wait you dont understand, at higher lvls iit WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE,(especially with equips) I hit like 190sk right now with GEN 30

Worst case is that it NEVER works, since probability is based on an infinite series of events. /nerd rant OT: Gene 30 will NEVER be worth it. If I had a bishop with lvl 20 gene, and found a 30, I'd instantly sell it. Unless you're insanely rich, it won't be WORTH buying, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. If you want that bit of extra damage for a minimum of 600mil, go for it, but I highly oppose it.

Alright we got ourselves a scenario here So your killing the evil undead and snails and then jesus comes down from the skyz and saiz "Thy nub shath die lololololol" and then use Mega supersonic Plasma infused rocket fuel jet engine Holy arrow and your like OMGWTFBBQNODIEZ and then the last thought going through your mind is i could have defeated him if i had Gene 30 but no you have 20 and now you lay on the floor as sword are plunged through your still beating heart and are left there to die

Why gamble 700m on a 50% chance of ----> 50 <----- extra MATK when you can invest in other ways to increase your damage with 100% assurance? Invest in highly scrolled INT weapons/Equips; buy AP resets and go from low luk to lukless (varies), etc. Or just save up for MW30 which is way more worth it than Gen 30. Many respectable high lv Bishops made it fine without Gen 30.

MW 30 is no different from gene 30....It might cost you even more...

Sure, the damage boost is a bit better with MW30, but the price you have to pay for a 50% chance item to work or fail is ridiculous. I'd much rather buy Genesis 30. Also for the fact that they are more common than MW30.
