In the balancing patch bandits steal can attack up to 3 monsters. so should i start putting skill points into steal or is it still just as useless?

I say useless BoT will replace after 3rd job, Thats just my IMO thought Its your choice

I already have points on steal on my bandit just because I don't find very much use in endure. Your call though. If I heard right, steal can also stun, but that was a while back during the early stages of the balancing patches. Dunno if it changed or not.

It's 130% damage, so it's even worse than slash blast.

If it hits 4 monsters( not 3 ) at lv 1, then just put one point into it. The damage won't be impressive, just a tad stronger than savage blow only when 4 monsters are hit. The item drop effect is still generally useless. Stun even wouldn't be great, since we're a melee class. Endure's mp regain is always active. That you can't replace and will save you pots. Wait...did they change it to 3 last time i checked?

stunning multiple monsters will be really useful, depending where you train. Though, I don't know if it would help in any place you would train at during 3rd job or higher.
