What's your biggest MapleStory let-down?

Ever been really, really excited/nervous about something you've wanted to do/get for ages, and then when it finally happens, you're left feeling really flat and disappointed? I just had one of those moments today. For a long time now, I've wanted to solo a Jr Rog (yea, ok, not exactly the most exciting of ambitions, I know!). In my 2 years on GMS, Jr Rog seemed like something big, scary and hard to kill, and I was a less-than-wonderful and pretty weak cleric/priest. I gave up, figuring I'd get ksed very easily by the someone who could take it down in about 5 seconds. Fast-forward to 2 and half years later, and at lvl 70 on my new Priest on EMS, I finally got a Rog all to myself. I had lvl 1 Shining Ray and insufficient mp pots, and Jr Rog did a lot more damage to me than I did to it. I hopped up to a safe spot, with Rog still following me, hoping for Priest-shaped din-dins, and let my buddy list know there was a Rog waiting on that channel, if anyone wanted it. Fast-forward to today, and I'd decided to go farming Tauromacis horns just to get a quest off my list. Got very bored very quickly, and thought: "Hey, wonder if there's a Rog there?" Found a Jr Rog, and, forgetting that I was by now 18 levels higher than it, and that it was Holy-weak, I was all ready for a challenge. Approx ten seconds later.... one dead Jr Rog, and I'm staring blankly at the bag of mesos and the elixirs it dropped, and thinking: "Was that IT? One of my long-time Maple ambitions, and it was all over so quick I didn't even get round to taking a screenie!" OK, sorry to take so long with my little story - what are YOUR biggest Maple let-downs?

Probably my Dodo solo. Took 50 minutes to kill it with claw and elquines, and all it dropped was a PoT and some pots. Made me excited to be able to fight the Ice monsters in the couple maps over, though.

I really don't think anything in MapleStory has let me down. Aside from the community, but the game can't help that.

Deep purple witch belts. I got enough dark tokens for 7 belts and they ended up being only 80m at most.

It took me a few hours to get 6% today, and i lost it instantly when i tried to kill lilynouch for a quest(Reflect Hurts!) Moral of the story : Research your bosses.
