Blue Screamer Vs. Heaven's Gate

Hello Basil! I was just reading some info on 2h swords/1h swords and their hit range, and I noticed that the Heaven's Gate looks smaller than the Blue Screamer. Will this impact the hit range? As in, how far a character is able to hit a monster while standing. (ex. 2h swords can hit farther than 1h swords) Or are they the same? Thanks in advance!

Im pretty sure all weapons have a fixed range based on their orientation. *1 handed 2 handed* So i believe they'll be the same range.

Same range, only difference is the looks and the fact that Blue Screamers are far more available.

well if one IS bigger than the other, than not by much. However it seems both are the exact same lenght.

Also, the highest Heaven's Gate clean attack I've seen was 94, while a blue screamer's highest was 92

They have the same hitbox and both range from about 85-95 attack clean, maybe add/subtract a few to account for Gach and/or changes since I played GMS. So pretty much the only difference between HG and BS is: do you want to use a weapon that looks like its blade is dulled but has a flashy-looking hilt, or do you want to look like a fanboy of this candyass ?

[/quote] Asside from being a little whiny, he wasnt that bad... Anyway, this is a case where you simply choose between looks. Pick which you think is better or get an NX cover. Still, I do wish we had more options where we only had to pick between looks (for example, pirates only get one option for pretty much every level and reverse/timeless appear to look exactly the same)...

[/quote] You're right, but what I meant was seeing how someone above us said that blue screamer is more common than heaven's gate, heaven's gate might have 1 or 2 higher attack than a screamer. But I'm not disagreeing with you, that's just my guess at it

They're the same, besides maybe looks. Back before Maker and WS made Screamers abundant, Screamers looked better than the HG. Now that Maker has made both pretty equally available, the HG suddenly looks better to more people.

Oh well, can't possibly be worse than X-2 So... Meteor was just a giant blitz ball..? @above: just remember to switch to a NRW at 90 if you have the Dex for it (same for ST at 100).
