Best one handed sword

Title says it all. I mainly use 2handed for training, but got my hands on an awsome crossheilder and wanted to use it for bossing and back up. I was holding out for the neo tokyo weapons but It seems we arent geting them. MOTHER #&@%#*#@@*!@# GMS! anyway, what would my fellow warriors suggest for a 1 handed sword and if you wouldnt mind listing an attack range I should shoot for. Thanks alot.

You're going to have to list a few things for me if you want a totally accurate reply. 1. What's your priority - speed, damage per hit, or DPS? 2. Does the impact of an enemy's defense on the sword's damage matter to you much? 3. How much attack is on the shield and on the Ribgol you're using? 4. How much attack come from your other equips, and what's your buff of choice that you would want me to compare them with? 5. Finally, how much are you intending to spend on this sword?

Ah, thank you. Ill be happy too. The sheild is 9 attack and 19 str. My stonetooth (ribgol) is 118 attack. The defence factor doesnt matter all too much, threaten helps out. My major priority is the damage per hit factor, seeing as blast seems to have a fixed range (as far as I can tell) the range of the sword dosent matter too much. 29 attack comes from my assorted equips in total. And the price, well that is the only thing Im not honestly exact on. A price range would be rather helpfull if at all possible even as an estament. I mainly use the MTS seeing how Im broke most of the time, meso-wise.

I'm pretty sure that with a 9 attack shield, no weapon you can get with comparable spending to a 118 Ribgol can outdamage it. Unless you meant 19 attack and 9 str, I would probably abandon the 1-handed plan.
