Warrior Sword Dilemma

Hello. As many of you know, GMS is getting the nerfed version of Neo Tokyo. I was going to scroll a 1H Neo Tokyo sword, but thats not possible anymore. My question is, which sword should I plan on scrolling for an end game eqquip. The sword must be 1H. My two choices are, Red Katana (Fast 4) or Reverse Executioner (Fast 5) <- not so sure. I am planning on spending 1.5-2b on scrolls (50%). So, which weapon would be better? I am not going to make a poll because I would like to know the reason as well. Thanks in advance.

None of the above. I would prefer to use a Reverse Claymore, since it has the most DPS if partnered with SI. Otherwise I would wait for another lunchbox event.

[/quote] Waiting for another lunchbox event is stupid. And since when is there a reverse claymore? On topic: It's all preference really. You could probably get more bang for the buck with a reverse 1h though.

Thanks for the response ^^ I personally prefer 1H. I already have a 16 att shield to go with it. I hate the slow speed of 2H swords and I don't want to get the dex for ST considering a well scrolled ST is pretty hard to find.

I'm not sure how many scrolls or swords you'd get with that much spending, though I get the vague impression that simply buying a prescrolled would be a much better deal. In any event, an Executioner should have about 10% more "total attack" than a RK to break even on DPS. That includes all of your equips and buffs. For example, if you have 17 total attack from your gear like glove/cape/etc. and your shield is 16, and your buff of choice is Rage, that's 45 attack being added to whatever sword you use. So a 110 RK has 155 attack and a 130 Executioners has 175 attack. In this case the 130 Executioners will deal marginally more DPS, having a ~13% damage advantage, though I'm not so sure it'd average faster kills in training if you mob.

Usually if people make Reverse weapons, its to scroll and use and sell whatever garbage that is left. If I do plan on scrolling, what is the best way to try to scroll a 135+ att Executioner with the least amount of mesos?

I'm not as familiar with Reverse/Timeless weapons as I am with, say, RK or Fraute, so you're going to have to tell me how much it costs to make a Reverse weapon clean, or where you can get clean ones free. Also, I'll need 30% and 50% prices. I know they've changed radically since I quit GMS. 30% 1h sword is no longer 90k-120k on Basil, for one thing.

I'd just like to point out that it hasn't infact been proven nor posted in an official-announcement-thingy. It's just a teaser, there's no full confirmation.

[/quote] In order to make a Reverse Executioner, you would need 45 PoT which are roughly 7mill each. Average attack is 108 so with ADV diamond, it will be 111 att. Possibly additional attack from stimulator. 30% 1H Scrolls are roughly 6mill. 50% are 230-250mill. @ Above Theres 70% chance that we will be getting nerfed version. As you know, GMS isn't the only one that may get the nerfed version as many others already have it.

The best you could do with 1.5b at that rate is maybe get a +1 30% with two destroyed, or a +1 or +2 50% with maybe an extra sword with a failed slot to resell. That's if you got very, very lucky. A White Scroll might help, but not much. How much are Dragon Caravelas and Spartas clean?

[/quote] I believe Spartas are easier to make than Dragon Caravelas which cost roughly 25-30mill just to make one I believe. I might just make a Sparta and try to land 2 30's before using 50's.

I still personally recommend buying prescrolled, since it'd probably come out cheaper.
