okay just to clarify average lions fang is 70att normal compared to the 68att fast of japanese map so i started with a 73att lions fang and straight 60ed it 5 straight worked and then the last two failed -.- anyways currently its 83att/5str lions fang normal speed p/c in windia? and also...this is a level 50 weapon how many levels will this most likely last me until i start getting outperformed in general

Use this until u get a sparta (lv 60 2H sword) which u can 100% for like 90 atk? not sure. I had a 91 atk sparta i bought for only 2M on my dw. You can sell that for like 15Mish

it can last you to 60 or 64 depending on the stats of the rohen, a 100%ed sparta will outdamage the fang as vollynw said

Answers to your questions: 1. No, a 70 att Fang does not compare with a 68 att Map, not even remotely. 2. If you find a desperate person, you might be able to sell it for 2m-3m. I wouldn't advise trying to go higher than that. A 60% scroll should be able to fetch 1m on your server. 3. An 83 att Fang will be badly outperformed by pretty much any Map, even an unscrolled one, or for that matter pretty much any scrolled weapon of level 50 or higher. A 70 att Map kills at least as fast as an 84 att Fang (faster if you have equips like attack glove or buffs like Rage) and an 80 Map equates to at least a 96 att Fang.

[/quote] im gonna call bs :D back up your answers please seeing as your level 23 (yes i checked rankings) preferably with evidence from attack speed guides and whatnot id really like you to be wrong :p

Dude, you do realize I WROTE a good portion of the guides here, right? And that I've been posting here for about 3 years, deleted my last character over 2 years ago and that somebody named their Beginner after me shortly after I quit, then that person abandoned it at level 23 in 2008? There are posters here who still remember all of this happening. Here's the deal: Jap Map is Fast(4) which is 100 att/min with Booster (115 with FA as well). Fang is 83 att/min or 96 with FA. Either way, the Map has a 20% speed advantage over the Fang, meaning the Fang should have a roughly 20% damage advantage if you want to use it. None of this should come as a surprise to you at all given that a Fang is barely even competitive with a Jeweled Katar, which in turn is nowhere near as strong as a Map.

I agree with Senyain, 70 Atk Map > 83 Atk Lion's Fang. Btw i got my 98/10 Rohen for 40m just letting u noe in case it can help u in the future

lol okay im sorry about the level 23 thing it was uncalled for i see your reasoning but riddle me this: idk but from a calculus learn-ed perspective this is how i see it lets assume for a moment that 1 weapon attack equals 1 dmg (this is probably where my argument falls apart) in that case a 68 att japanese map @ 100 attacks per minute = 68 X 100 = 6800 dmg in a minute compared to my 73 att lions fang @ 83 attacks per minute = 73 x 83 = 6059 dmg in a minute however taking into account my situation my 83 att lions fang @ 83 attacks per minute = 83 x 83 = 6889 dmg in a minute furthermore 6800/83 = 81.9ish therefore 82 att lions fangs are stronger than 68 att japanese maps :D so in conclusion my 83 att normal lions fang is slightly stronger than a 68 att fast japanese map edit: i think i may have misread a bit so i will concede that a 70 att japanese map outdamages my 83 att lions fang (70 x 100 = 7000, compared to 83 x 83 = 6889) right? idk i felt a need to express my thought process in words thanks for the enlightenment guys P.S. i scrolled my lions fang for a little under 8m so its arguably cheaper than a clean japanese map anyways? (i rarely see any clean, let alone above average :p)

lol its not really even calculus but w/e :p apparently 100% map is the way to go i wish i could have learned this before spending all this money oh well time to go pawn off my fang on some unsuspecting sparkly vampire :p
