To people with braces (Silly question).

I was randomly clicking through threads and an Invisaline braces ad came up. You guys have probably seen it before. The ad has a picture of a piece of pizza and and a picture of someone's teeth with braces. This individual's teeth seems to be painted with Pizza sauce, cheese an pepperoni. Do people with braces actually have this problem?

Those ads exaggerate with the whole food sticking to braces and what not. People say you're not supposed to chew gun when you have braces yet people continue to do it.

Nope. I always eat pizza, and it's never happened to me. I have a bit of trouble with unsliced fruit, though.

Food getting caught in your braces does happen occasionally, but it's no real problem. They're just exaggerating it to convince you to buy their product. Even gum doesn't seem to get stuck in braces (I don't chew gum, but I never see friends with braces have that problem).

As other people have said, it's fine. Rarely does food get caught in your braces. Just avoid gum and unsliced fruit, like a guy above me said.
