Why are the characters non Asians? Did the white people buy out the dbz and tla? Did they make the MAIN characters white because they don't want asian kids too be heros? <I would totally understand this I wouldn't want a non asian main character in a asian movie. It wouldn't make any sense.> Not being racist. Just noticing the FACTS.

Hopefully this won't be as big as a let down as DBE was. That was just plain dreadful and all my friends were saying the girl playing Chi Chi was hot. IMO she wasn't and that movie just ruined my childhood memory of Goku. Let's see what they'll do to Aang and the rest this time.

Is the actor playing Aang in The Last Airbender white? Anyway, I don't really mind what race the main character is, I don't see why people were so annoyed with the actor of DBZ.

Uhh... Avatar The Last Airbender was an American cartoon. It was mix of Anime and Cartoons, what's this talk about "white people" buying it out? o-o As for DBZ, I think a movie with real people will completely ruin the show. Just saying :P Edit: And Aang didn't even look asian.

[/quote] I don't see why either, from my speculations of the cartoon, Goku was raised by an old Asian man. All we know about Goku is that he's an alien orphan that landed on Earth. Kinda like your average Superman without the super strength at like the age of nothing.

Avatar was an American show. As for DBZ, I've always wondered why all of them are white as well.

Fact: Avatar is not an asian show. The only asian part about it is... The martial art styles and building designs. Otherwise, It's made in the US, and created by an italian dude and some other (non-asian) guy. BTW: Most of the avtors ARE asian.

They didn't state any Asian decent in the show, all that we know is that he lived with monks in a temple. Who's to say he wasn't found as a child also? [Edit] Whoa, seriously?
