Killing someone "humanely" vs. jail.

To those that argue that killing someone humanely cost about the same or more than putting them in jail, I have a question. Why can't they just put someone in a small room and turn on the air condition until they die?

An air conditioner wouldnt kill them, unless it pumps out like sub zero temperatures. Also they would starve to death before dieing from hypothermia

[/quote] Because the (US) government sets an example to the world and they know that they are under heavy criticism so they cannot shoot a person in the head because it is "inhumane," even if it makes sense logically. I guess it's inhumane because fragments of the person's head is broken off the person so it's incomplete? EDIT: ^ At above, actually it would kill and dying from starving hurts the person... so it wouldn't be humane -.-.

And the buerocracy (murdered the spelling of that word) behind the death penalty is just ridonkulous.

Because many cops my take advantage of this and kill the criminals out of revenge and stuff, or even worse they might accuse them for something and then be able to freely kill him anytime.

Like humans laws and law officials are not perfect.

Its not humane to take someones life purposely either... If you killed someone purposely, I say you should get a death sentence.

Carbon monoxide would be humane. They'd drift into sleep and never wake up. Not sure how cost efficient it is though.
