New MS Patch not installing "Data1.Cab" file corrupt?

So I patched the game on my computer yesterday, and it went find till It got to, which I think was, the end of the patch and said something about a corrupt file and to try to patch again, and that if that doesn't work that I should uninstall Maple and redownload the game. So I tried again, it didn't work, and I redownloaded the game (please note, that this time i've tried both the MSdownloader, and the old fashioned way). Now, when I try to install the game, it gets to the point of installing it, and a message saying "Error 1335: The cabinet 'Data1.cab' require for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error from reading the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.". Anyone know a solution for this? On this computer i'm using Windows XP. BEFORE the patch, I had come back a couple weeks ago to Maple, and 50% of the time when starting up the game, it'd freeze once I logged in or once the title page came up. When it did work, I would get random flashes of lines through the screen in bunches of squares during gameplay. I couldn't get the MSdownloader working a couple weeks back when I first downloaded it again so I downloaded the game the old fashioned way incase that has anything to do with the problem. If anyone knows any possible solutions, or anything that could please help me get the game working, please help me. Oddly enough, the game works on my Mom's laptop (vista) and the game patched without a hitch.

Probably just your computer? Windows XP? It's probably pretty old.

I have this problem as well, i tried to delete everything related to nexon and redownloaded and it still has that problem

Cheezydude; The computer works fine, and my dad doesn't want to upgrade to anything higher, i couldn't be sure if it's the computer. It's worked fine before.

get a usb stick, copy the files from ur moms computer onto urs, and copy them onto urs, it doesnt help the problem with patching directly, but it is an alternative!

I downloaded Windows Installer 4.5 and tried installing again and now it works fine.

@wolfe; by files, do you mean the folder of which is created when you install the game? Or the game file used to install and then patch directly? @ericz9; i'll take a look at which version I have. Thanks. ^^

i mean copy the entire file onto ur usb stick, as in the "nexon file" and simply paste it over to your computer, ud need 2 patch ms on ur moms tho, aslo u might want 2 delete ms from ur computer before u transfer it over to yours, that or just keep it on ur usb stick. the copying to the usb stick will take about 10 minutes max, and the pasting should be even faster

I simply deleted every single "Maplestory" or "Nexon" related file i could find, then i simply redownloaded. It worked after i redownloaded, it took a while to download though.
