Strafe or Hurricane?

Just wondering. Making a bowman soon wondering which is better? Like is there any formula/technique/strategy into it?

well i dont really think you would be using strafe in 4th job for a BM.. but u need it in 3rd definitely and in 4th use Hurricane

1 hurricane with any lvl SE is stronger than strafe with any lvl SE.

Well if its marksman v BM, MM use snipe which contributes to more than half of their damage at low levels. snipe is 200k every 5 seconds

Strafe and Hurricane both deal 100% damage when maxed. hurricane fires off 8.x arrows a second, where Strafe will shoot 4 a second with Bow Booster. For DPM purposes Hurricane is far superior. But Strafe will be helpful for certain unique situations, there's one listed in the Bossing reference as follows for Pianus: Blood Booms do not move, and operate similar to pap�s bombs. Do under 1k to them, they don�t set off. Do 1001~9999, they set off and autokill you. Do 10k+, and the bomb will be safely destroyed (10k+ is achieved with 4k min range and max MB, or 2.5k min range and max strafe� sorry bow users, this is one instance that hurricane is as much of a curse as it is a 1vs1 blessing � use strafe for the bombs, ignore hurricane). [/i] Keep an open mind, Some skills may become useless as you become stronger, but just because an attack was replaced by a superior one, it doesn't make it useless. Heck, look at Arrow Bomb, the Bowman mob skill, with Inferno and Arrow Rain.

these aren't noob questions, they are honest querys to hopefully make ones maple experience better. A noob question would be 'WHICH IS BETTAH MM OF BM?one!//11?//1/11!//!//111/?1' ect.

[/quote] You need to do 10k + with 1 single hit ? so douple shot should be better with 130% damage? if this is right replace strafe with DS but strafe hits 4 times that makes you have a better change hit that 10k + so idk

I believe that with strafe, the number goes in as one large number, where as with hurricane, it goes in as several smaller numbers. Because each arrow is independent in hurricane, and could theoretically go to a different monster, however strafe always goes all to one monster, even if it is dead the first arrow.
