Why are Strless Gunslingers bad?

Their DEX : Damage ratios are horrible. At level 35, a STRless Gunslinger with the same attack Maple Gun as the gun of a regular STR Gunslinger will do approximately 50 damage more, if you're lucky. At level 40, the regular STR Gunslinger will already outdamage / have equal damage to the level 40 STRless Gunslinger.

They're not actually bad . In fact, if well-funded, they're better than regular STR or low-STR gunslingers until level 9x-10x. However, around then, the attack bonus other gunslingers get catches up to the dex bonus STR-less ones have, and STR-less gunslingers fall behind.

If you have enough mesos. And can get statless STR equips that accumilate (sp?) 116 (4 STR base) then it's good since you'll be able to equip any gun and poured all those points into DEX. However your defence will be a joke.

In fact, they ARE bad. I actually had a STRless Gunslinger, and I know for sure; I'm not hypothesizing or theorizing at all. The bonus attack damage the extra DEX gives you may be obsolete by the the time of the next gun upgrade. For example, a Maple Gun (lvl35 gun) user who is STRless will be outdamaged / have equal damage to a Lunar Shooter user (lvl40 gun). And to cover moocow's argument that a well-funded STRless slinger will outdamage a regular STR one? Here, you are apparently assuming that the STRless slinger has greater funding than the regular STR. In this case, the STRless will obviously outdamage the regular; but with equal funding, the advantage of the STRless will last only until the next gun upgrade of the regular STR, at which point the extra attack of the regular STR's gun will surpass that of the extra attack gained from being STRless. If the damage of the regular STR still does not meet / surpass that of the STRless, though, their other equips can make up for it. A STRless Gunslinger will be forced to wear the same DEX robe for half their Maple career, while the regular STR can upgrade his overall with an increasing base of DEX. As duriel so simply put, weapon attack > DEX.

They're not bad except they cost more and they dont pay off that much in terms of training.
