What is better for my hermit?

Hey everyone , i have 86 level,dexless hermit atm,I have pretty nice items BUT im thinking if after 120level,low dex is better? If yes,ill sell my dexless sin's items,and i would cap my dex at 40 base,and use +75atk craven,any suggestions? Thanks , and sorry for bad english

Hmm, check it out. use the Assassin attack formula (total Luk * 3.6 + dex +Str)/100 *Total attack. Then work out your exact equips for dexless and low~dex build. Then calculate it, whichever gives you a bigger number is the better build.

Your English is better than at least half the Americans on the internet so far as I can tell. I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it. From what I understand, you're correct that dexless assassins are no longer the best past level 120 or so. I think low dex ones are better at that point. I don't really know though exactly what a good amount is to cap your dex at is, but if you have the money for more dex gear, it's probably good to cap it as low as you can. 40 sounds like an okay number, but I think that level 83 might be a little low to start converting to low dex. I think most start either right before or after fourth job at 120. I also think that asking someone who knows more about assassins would be a good idea too though. =P

It seems that in the early levels when you don't have a whole lot of weapon attack, luk contributes more to your damage than attack does. But the more luk you get, the less it starts contributing to your damage compared to attack. So after getting a huge amount of luk (like you do near fourth job), attack starts to add more to your damage than luk does. The maple skanda can work well too despite its lower attack, because it has a higher attack speed, which means more attacks per minute and more damage per minute. But the slightly lower damage might also mean the difference between whether or not you take an extra hit to kill whatever you're training on. If the higher single hit damage means you can kill in one less hit, then you'll likely be training faster with the higher single target damage (assuming it's one or two hits to kill, anyway). Also, determining exactly where attack starts outdoing luk depends on which skill you're using. Lucky seven and triple throw use this formula to calculate your range: MAX = (LUK * 5.0) * Weapon Attack / 100 MIN = (LUK * 2.5) * Weapon Attack / 100 While everything else uses this formula: MAX = (LUK * 3.6 + STR + DEX) * Weapon Attack / 100 MIN = (LUK * 3.6 * 0.9 * Skill Mastery + STR + DEX) * Weapon Attack / 100 Normally I like a good math problem... But I should have been asleep hours ago. I can try to find out exactly where it is that luk isn't worth as much as attack any more tomorrow if you like, but I need to get some sleep. Depends on your funding, if you can get 140 dex easily i suggest you to go lowdex/dexless craven. You rather not try getting 150 dex, that 2 att boost from base isnt worth that 10 dex that can be converted to luk, not unless your planning to use reverse weapons. If you have the right amount of funds try to become a dexless craven user, if you cant i suggest you to convert to low dex.

I'm currently 60 base with 156 dex. It's not that hard to do 40 dex with an overall since I'm top/bottom.
