[/quote] Neither pirate class is abundant per say, but regardless you still need 2 pirates for CWK. And not everyone may have an LB, but there's other Fast 4 weapons too, such as an RK. While Rellik may have 1/1 and other status moves, it is also true that most people have potions . -gasp-

If you don't want buccs, you'll just have a much harder time finding two pirates who can actually attack. The fact that everyone doesn't have a fast (4) weapon directly implies that SOMEONE has a weapon that is sped up by SI. Ever seen ranged classes try to fight rellik? They get slaughtered. Everyone dies at some point in their career. I've died in CKPQ before. A lot of my friends have died in CKPQ before too.

Buccs are one of the most underrated classes. They need more respect. So do heroes, but buccs really need respect. These days all anyone cares about is 1 on 1 damage, but mobs do tons more when there are actually mobs. In that aspect, Sairs are the best class. As a downfall, they have no party skills .

Buccs are really not that good, besides BF, SI/TL mules, and... I honestly can't think of anything besides cwkpq. I would like them to be better, and they got WAY ripped off on the balance patch...

I used to think that blast stunning, 90% stance, dragon strike cast time reduction, and whatnot was nowhere near what we deserved. Still, the dragon strike update ALONE increases our training speed by ~13% while at the same time allowing us to finally train for extremely long periods of time without wasting pots. It also increases bossing damage and evasion though not by much. It will help level 130-150 buccaneers as they don't have enough demolition to out damage DS/barrage. The only classes that got a great buff are those that don't contribute anything to bosses now. (paladins, shadowers) Threaten only works on physical damage, which helps a lot but really only to melee classes. Shadowers still don't really contribute anything in terms of party buffs, so they got a significant increase in damage. Buccs remain the only melee class who contributes the most to a party (besides DrKs), and we sacrifice comparable damage for that. Not to say our damage is low, but it is still significant. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't have a buccaneer.
