will strafe ever get stronger than snipe?

hello yesterday, one of the 17x MM told me that she saw some 18x MM hit 55k per strafe arrow on apple, if something like that is true then it's actually not worth it to fire snipe anymore (unless on def up). can you guys tell me if 55k per arrow is possible? thanks :D

i'm pretty sure that's highly unlikely, unless you use an apple and the 55k was a crit, along with SE, maple warrior, echo of hero.

The screenshot you saw with strafe hitting 55k was because an aran used tempest, resulting the person who hits it to hit the monster's max hp,resulting in 1 hit KO

It's not 100% you'll hit 55k with all the arrows, and you must be really strong to hit 55k even with apple.

even if it were possible, you would still need an apple (cost 4-5m) furthermore, she had to crit on every arrow. The likelyhood of each arrow crit-ing with SE is 55%. It isn't consistent. Snipe is the strongest single hit in the game, thats why it has a 5 second cooldown.

55k damage would require a max damage of 16,176. Consider one of the godlier Marksmen in GMS has a range of ~9k with 222 attack (No apple), appling would bring his range to 12,540. That's still 4,000 damage short of the absolute minimum possible range of ever hitting 55k on a rare strafe shot. That's not even considering the amount of damage it would take to hit 55k per arrow average damage. Snipe will never be overshadowed by Strafe, your friend is confused.

[/quote] Wouldn't it be possible with the new critical rings? They just might have the necessary boost to hit 55k strafe. It would be extremely rare and will not overpower snipe, of course, but it could be possible.

snipe wil lalways be better to use then strafe even if you can hit 55k per arrow. There is no gaurentee all your htis will be critical.

Strafe will never hit higher but it hits faster making up for it. And this is possible but with extremely godly armor, apple, se, maple warrior, and maybe tempest -not sure what tempest does correct if wrong please.-
